My eREIT's mission is to provide education and options to homeowners facing possible foreclosure. My eREIT is dedicated to providing knowledgeable and ethical assistance that will empower the homeowner to choose their best options. We provide the bridge between homeowners, lenders, financial institutions, and state and local agencies to help preserve our community. When all other options fail to keep the homeowners in their home, My eREIT, through the eREIT Agreement, is the only company that enables homeowners to avoid foreclosure, maintain control over the ownership of your home, and benefit from the future change in the value of the home. Neither a predatory lender nor a bank, My eREIT is a respected pure real estate investment company with a single-minded focus on creating smart alternatives for homeowners to avoid foreclosure and create equity in their homes where there once was none. My eREIT was founded in 2007. We are a privately held company.
For the right to share in the agreed upon percentage of the future change in the value of the home, My eREIT purchases the home from the homeowners in what is called a pre-foreclosure sale. The pre-foreclosure sale allows the homeowners in default to sell the home and use the net sale proceeds to satisfy the mortgage debt even though these proceeds are less than the amount owed. The homeowner then leases back the home from our financing group for a predetermined amount of time. Following the lease period, the homeowner is offered an opportunity to execute an option to buy the home back at the existing market value. If the home has increased in value since the execution of the pre-foreclosure sale, My eREIT shares in the gain. If the home declines in value, My eREIT shares in the loss. Simply stated, there is nothing like the eREIT Agreement in foreclosure prevention today.
When My eREIT invests in you, we also make a commitment. We commit to share in the future appreciation (or depreciation) of your home. Why would we do that? Because we believe in the potential of homeowners like you.
